Dear Patients,

As you are aware the Autumn Covid Vaccination programme is commencing within the UK. GP surgeries have been asked to agree and sign up to working collaboratively within their Primary Care Network groups in offering this service to their registered patients.

Oxted Health Centre and Lingfield Practices are working together as South Tandridge PCN and have agreed to provide this service locally for our patients and are currently in the strategic planning stages of commencing the administration of the Covid vaccination programme from October together with the flu vaccination. We would ask our patients to not contact our practices in regards to booking an appointment. The practice will make contact with our patients following the guidelines issued by NHSE and the JCVI.

Please note that we cannot change an individual status in relation to when an individual will be called in for the vaccination. We have had patients contacting the practice and being abusive towards our staff in relation to the Covid Vaccination – we would like to reiterate that practices do not have to sign up to provide this service however Oxted Health Centre and Lingfield Medical practice have agreed to do this and that the supply of the Covid vaccine is being centrally supplied and the delivery timeframe is completely out of our control.
